Inspired by Theophile Villard’s Breaking Down The Homescreen 📱 here’s my Homescreen.
WhatsApp – My go to messaging communication app. No Facebook Messenger. No Hangouts. Nothing. My entire network is on WhatsApp.
Gmail – Work + 5 personal accounts
Phone – To make phone calls
Chrome – To Browse
Google Keep – This app is my to-do list and my ideas app. Have moved away from Trello to Keep. Since moving to Keep, my draft blogposts are also entered here.
Camera- For selfies
Flipboard Tech – This is actually a Chrome bookmark and I browse through headlines every morning at 7AM and 9PM
Pocket – Reading material while commute. I commute for more than 1.30hr one way
Instagram – To share selfies from Camera
Twitter – News update and post my daily updates. This is my most used app on the device
French (Folder) – This folder contains all apps for my French learning. It has Duolingo, Fre-Eng Dictionary, Wordreference, Google Translate, Memrise, French Radio, Le Monde, France24
Google (Folder) – All Google stuff
Amazon Kindle – To read my English books
Freshdesk – To manage work related tickets
eReader – To read pirated French novels as it’s almost impossible to “buy” French books in India
Pi Music Player – Music in French, Hindi, English. I realised that I don’t listen to Marathi Songs
The Digest – My now defunct app
Smartnews – For general non-tech India related news. The app was built out by Chinese devs I believe
Authenticator – Two-step authentication for logins
