Dear Facebook, Please fix this

Facebook has made it incredibly easy to manage online content for a brand on Facebook with Facebook pages. I have been managing Facebook page for Techknots.

I never previously had to comment using my personal FB account on our Facebook page, but today I had to. And guess what? If I upload photos on Facebook page using admin rights for that page, there’s no way I can comment on it using my personal account. Facebook assumes that I have to comment using my admin access.

Dear Facebook, please fix this?

I use the Facebook social plugin on our site (woikr.com) for comments. Usually they have a drop down in the comment box to select which profile you want to use to post that comment. That drop down lists my profile as well as any pages I have created. I am surprised they don’t have that option there.

You are welcome. Although I am not sure if the plugin can help in this case. I just check woikr’s page on Facebook and I seem to facing the same issue. The pug in probably lets you choose profile when commenting on the domain (not on Facebook).

But do let me know if you find something.

In your admin section (click “edit info”) and deselect this option. “Always comment and post on your page as ”your page”, even when using Facebook as ”your name”" and you are good to go
